About Us

Antiquella is an idea that was born when my husband and I started traveling. Since he's in the military, we have to relocate often. I always wanted to have a store but because of the constant moving, owning a store  seemed almost impossible.

Having a mobile store is giving us the opportunity of traveling with our dreams, meeting wonderful people and offering our wonderful products.

Our products are 100% handcrafted supporting by artisans from Colombia. We strive to emphasize the love, time and dedication that went into making each piece. Our products are made entirely by hand with the highest quality, and incorporating the Colombian identity and culture.

Specific Artisan Notes:

Wayuu Artisans: The Wayuu are an Indigenous ethnic group native to the arid Guajira Peninsula in northern Colombia and northwest Venezuela. The word translates to "person" or "people". They speak  Wayuu (also called Wayuunaiki), part of the Arawakan language family, and represent the largest Indigenous population in Colombia and Venezuela.
